Google Pixel 11 Review 2026: Google’s AI Phone Is Finally Getting SeriousGoogle Pixel 11 reviewThe Google Pixel 11 is not trying to beat every Android phone by throwing the biggest numbers onto a specification sheet.Instead, Google is doing what Pixel has always done best: combining Android, computational photography, artificial intelligence and Google’s own hardware. The result is a phone that is much more interesting than its specification sheet initially suggests. The Pixel 11 starts at ₹89,999 in India for 256GB, with 12GB RAM.Quick VerdictOur rating: 4.5/5Buy it if: You want clean Android, excellent computational photography, Google’s AI features and long-term software support.Skip it if: Gaming performance and charging speed are your absolute priorities.Best feature: Camera + AI integrationBiggest weakness: Charging speedGoogle Pixel 11 Price in IndiaGoogle lists the Pixel 11 from ₹89,999, while the 512GB version is available for more. Google is also offering launch-period benefits such as exchange value and selected cashback offers.Current Flipkart listings also show the 256GB model at ₹89,999, with marketplace offers potentially reducing the effective price.Buy Pixel 11Amazon: Check Google Pixel 11 on AmazonFlipkart: Check Google Pixel 11 on FlipkartDesign and DisplayThe Pixel 11 uses a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 60–120Hz Smooth Display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and 422ppi, with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. This is a comfortable size. It’s big enough for video and gaming but doesn’t feel like you’re carrying a small tablet. At 197g, it is also reasonably manageable. The Pixel Display’s Biggest StrengthIt’s not simply brightness.Google’s display tuning tends to prioritise readability and natural presentation. The 120Hz refresh rate also makes the interface feel much smoother than older 60Hz Pixel phones.Display rating9/10Tensor G6: Google’s Different ApproachThe Pixel 11 is powered by Google’s Tensor G6 processor. This is important because Google isn’t necessarily trying to win every benchmark.Tensor is designed around Google’s AI workloads.Google says the latest Tensor platform, paired with its latest Gemini Nano model, can process certain on-device AI tasks substantially faster while using less energy. That tells you where Google thinks smartphone computing is going. Not just:“How fast can this phone run a game?”but:“How much useful intelligence can the phone perform locally?”Pixel 11 CameraThis is still the area where Pixel phones attract the most attention. The Pixel 11 has:48MP wide camera13MP ultrawide10.8MP 5x telephotoUp to 30x Super ZoomGoogle also provides Macro Focus on the main camera. On paper, this is a more versatile camera system than many previous standard Pixel models. Why Pixel Photography Is DifferentPixel photography has never been only about hardware.Google’s computational photography engine analyses the image and makes decisions about:ExposureSkin tonesShadowsHighlightsNoiseDetailHDRThat is why Pixel phones can sometimes produce surprisingly good photographs even when another phone has larger camera sensors.Portrait PhotographyPortrait photography is one of the areas where Google’s image processing can make a visible difference. The phone needs to understand where a person ends and the background begins. That sounds simple. It isn’t.Hair, glasses, fingers and complicated backgrounds are difficult for computational photography.Pixel’s AI processing is designed to handle these situations more intelligently.ZoomThe dedicated 5x telephoto camera is a welcome addition. It makes the Pixel 11 more useful for travel, portraits and distant subjects.Google also offers Super Zoom up to 30x.At extreme zoom levels, don’t expect miracles. But having optical hardware underneath the digital zoom gives the phone a much stronger starting point.BatteryThe Pixel 11 uses a 4,985mAh typical battery.Google rates it for more than 30 hours of battery life. It can reach approximately 55% in around 30 minutes with a compatible 30W or higher charger. This is perfectly reasonable. But it isn’t spectacular.Chinese Android brands have pushed charging technology much further.Wireless ChargingThe Pixel 11 supports Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25W.That’s a nice feature for people who prefer charging pads.Software: The Real Pixel AdvantageThis is where the Pixel 11 makes the most sense. You get Google’s version of Android without the heavy customisation found on many competing phones. That means:Clean interfaceGoogle’s appsFast Android updatesPixel-exclusive featuresDeep Gemini integrationStrong securityGoogle also promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for the Pixel 11 series. That’s a major reason to consider the phone.AI: More Than a Buzzword?Google is one of the companies best positioned to integrate AI into a smartphone. The Pixel 11 combines Tensor G6, Gemini and Google’s software ecosystem. The important thing is that much of the AI processing can happen on the device rather than requiring every request to be sent to a cloud server. That can improve speed, privacy and reliability in supported tasks.Pixel 11 vs Samsung Galaxy S26This is probably the most interesting Android comparison.Choose Pixel 11 for:Clean AndroidGoogle AIComputational photographySeven years of updatesSimpler softwareChoose Galaxy S26 Ultra for:More camera flexibilityS PenLarger displayMore powerful flagship hardwareSamsung’s multitasking featuresPrivacy DisplayThe Galaxy is the more feature-packed phone. The Pixel is arguably the more focused one.Pixel 11 Pros and ConsProsExcellent camera systemTensor G6Clean AndroidStrong AI integrationSeven years of updates120Hz display5x telephotoQi2.2 wireless chargingConsExpensiveCharging isn’t class-leadingGaming isn’t its main strength197g is heavier than some rivalsSome AI features depend on Google’s ecosystemWho Should Buy Pixel 11?Buy it if:You love Google’s Android experienceCamera quality mattersYou want AI featuresYou keep phones for many yearsYou want long software supportWho Should Skip It?Skip it if:Gaming is your priorityYou need extremely fast chargingYou want maximum hardware specificationsYou prefer aggressive customisationFinal VerdictThe Google Pixel 11 is one of the most interesting Android phones of 2026 because it doesn’t try to be everything.Google has chosen a different path. The Pixel 11 is about photography, AI, Android and long-term software support. And that focus works. The camera system is versatile, the Tensor G6 provides the hardware foundation for Google’s AI ambitions, and seven years of updates make the phone easier to justify as a long-term purchase.Final rating: 4.5/5Best for: Photography, AI and clean Android.Camera: 4.7/5Performance: 4.3/5Display: 4.5/5Software: 4.9/5FAQsWhat is the Google Pixel 11 price in India? The Pixel 11 starts at ₹89,999 for the 256GB version. How many years of updates does Pixel 11 receive?Google says Pixel 11 receives seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Is Pixel 11 good for photography?Yes.
